The Southern Maine Landlord Association invites you to join us as we launch our 2020-21 meeting season. This month will be a first for the SMLA as we meet virtually in a Zoom Membership Meeting!

Brit Vitalius and leaders from the campaign team will give an update on the upcoming Portland referendum campaign. A PAC called "Building a Better Portland" has been formed to oppose three of the ballot measures. They will discuss details on rent control, short-term rentals, and the Green New Deal and what you can do to help defeat the initiatives.  

Samuel Sherry, Attorney at Law, will give an update on local eviction hearings and the federal eviction moratorium.
